about me

I’m a 30-ish Singaporean. I can honestly proclaim myself an introvert who prefers quiet moments at home when I’m not at work.

My life wasn’t always like this. Before marriage, I used to do lots of crazy stuffs. Besides partying a lot, I managed my time between trying to learn how to create electronic music and hanging out with friends at cafe. I also loved the beach life and lounging around the swimming pools sharing jugs of home-made long island tea with my party pals.

Do not mistaken that my marriage stopped the crazy lifestyle. Quite the opposite. I got married because I was rather tired of the crazy life. I knew I needed a more solid motivation like a marriage to stop the aimless partying.

So I got married. And guess what? I’m so glad I married the right girl. I won’t say she’s perfect, but she is perfect for me. That’s what matters.

Nevertheless, I’m still hopelessly crazy about electronic music. Trance… house… breakbeat… you name it, I dig it. To this day, I’m still learning to produce something with the little budget I have.

Along with the music, I’m also a tees and sneaker freak. I used to collect dunks and collectible tees. I have stopped buying but I ain’t done following the skateboarding fashion street style. Oh yes, I used to be a skateboarder back in secondary school. I stopped after breaking too many decks and almost broke a bone.

I’m also an aspiring watch collector. While I know this isn’t a healthy hobby for the middle-class, I have my weaknesses when it comes to mechanical watches… in the marvel and beauty of the balancing wheels and decorated bridges. I hope to own a nice collection in the future.

So what is ‘idealism’? what does it mean to me or about me?
