There were more visitings over the later parts of the day but not many pictures were taken. That was because we were busy mainly with FOOD FOOD and more FOOD!
(God bless my throat. I hope I don’t get sick from all the tidbits and food over flow for the past days.)

Allen,
Happy Chinese New Chinese New Year greetings from Chicago. It’s a pity I can’t be there at home in Singapore to celebrate the occasion with the rest of the family. Thank you for posting the pictures and writing about the occasion.
Have a happy and properous 2006.
Take care

Hey Timo!
A Happy And Smooth-sailing New Year to you too!
Well, frankly I don’t think I wrote much about the new year and the family. The routine visiting on 1st day isn’t that different from all previous years, except for a few new comers in the family (e.g. YongYee’s and Chaiwei’s kids). Then it was, as expected, THE question about when will our turn be.
Anyway, really meant to share the sights with those who weren’t with us, like yourself and Shihui. Take care, bro!

Great pics! This year is very different because on the 1st day, we went back to the “ancient home” where tons of relatives are still staying there.
After that, my mom and sisters all went outstation for vacation. I am left alone in the house (and that’s another story), so I went out all the time to gamble, drink, gamble, drink, and drink. Oh let’s not forget about the sinful food.
Right now I have gained a lot of weight. I think sooner or later I’ll be in the Land of the Growing Waist

The red colour theme is great. Maybenext year I’ll get my whole family to wear red too. Speaking of that.. I had forgotten to take photos of my reunion dinner. What a waste!
