Tempus 2007: Temple of Time & MOCHA

This post is late… in fact, 2 months late! But the Tempus 2007 is an experience I must share, better late than never.

The event organized by Singapore’s largest watch retailer, Hour Glass, took place at Raffles City convention hall, from 5th to 9th September. I almost couldn’t make it but managed to arrive back in Singapore just about 12 hours before the last day…

The venue was set up with lighted posters and large LCD screens. The mood was very relaxed with warm toned glow. Before the entrance of the main convention room, there’s a nice lounging area where you can relax in between your watch fest if you wish. The idea of this event is to relax… no rush… enjoy the watches… mmmm.

This event is divided into two main sections: The Temple of Time and MOCHA. The Temple of Time exhibits new releases by the top watch makers around the globe, not just the swiss. The MOCHA (Museum of Contemporary Horological Art) is a special museum that exhibits unique and priceless timepieces made by famous watch makers.
