Poll: How Big Is Your Screen?

Family and friends. I know I’ve been rather slack (correction… VERY SLACK) with my blogs over the past year. Some reasons for this are legit and some are plain excuses. One of the legit ones (you might argue being another excuse) is that I got tired of the look of my blog but did not find the time/interest to update.

So help me get back

Here’s how you can help. Now that I had my work planned out for the next few months, I get some spare time during the evening and I plan to do a revamp of my blog site. Before I start, I would like to do a concensus on the how large (resolution) you use so I can decide how to optimize legibility. Here’s a poll:

Spam Plagued

So what’s keeping me from updating this blog?

Work? Yes that’s one of the reason, but the bigger headache recently is the increasing number of spam comments posted to this site. Each time I turn on the blog admin page, there’s always additional 100 over comments for me to moderate… each either selling sex or drugs (in the most legitimate way they can think of, ironically) and some even added a comment (automated, it seems) about how much info they get from this site. What a headache! The electro-perfectionist me just haaaate to leave useless bytes lying around so it’s my impulsion to want to clean these spam bugs off before I post anything.

You know how it is… Take a week of vacation away from any computer and only return to find your blog plagued by 1326 comments. I tried to scroll through just in case there is any genuine comment somewhere, but after browsing through 249 spam comments, I just couldn’t continue. I just selected “Report All Spam” button at the bottom and cleared all.

So, for those who added any comment but did not get posted, I apologize.

New Look

Got this new theme from a website and did modifications over the weekends. I meant to keep it clean with the sidebar on the left this time.

Probably one thing to do—clean up my Category. It’s looking too clustered.

Busted My Bandwidth

I think I’ve busted my monthly bandwidth with that huge Twilight file. I’ve removed the link for good. For anyone who wish to get it, please e-mail me personally.

Blog Cloned

Poor Minishorts just had some of her blogs copied blatantly by a copycat into her own friendster blog. Not just one article stolen, not two, not three, but FOUR articles copied word for word.

Sad but true, that our copycat not only copy the words, but even the pictures are leeched from Minishorts’ own domain. Finally, the copycat did the weirdest act of stupidity by copying only half of the original.

Latest Update: Our copycat has removed her blog. Case closed.

New Blog Site

This new self-titled blog site was created over the weekends. The old blog site at blogspot.com was getting a little too slow for my liking, especially with the sound files, so I decided to create one out of my personal domain. It is about time to get this domain into some use.

This site will be a good chance for extra HTML exploration and room for creativity. If time forbids, I might even learn some flash and post them here (that’s right… only IF i get the time). My old blogs are currently in the process of being migrated here.
